Downtown Oshkosh is a vibrant place of shops, restaurants, taverns and great places to be entertained. We have a well deserved reputation as an arts community with fantastic galleries, but many of our restaurants and shops are also show places for our local artists.

The anchor of our downtown venues is the Grand Opera House. Not only is the building stupendous and filled with amazing history, but this music pallace is also home to wonderful concerts, touring shows, local productions and even an occassional movie.

Another great show place downtown, at least in the summer, is the Leach Ampitheather right on the river. Every Thursday night at WaterFest you can catch some of the future and past top tickets in music. Other concerts are scheduled and as soon as they are, find them right here on the Events page.
